India’s defense minister Rajnath Singh took part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Moscow, amidst military confrontation along the north and northeast border with China. During this, he has given a strong message to China in gestures. Singh has clearly said that it is necessary to end the aggressive attitude for regional stability peace. During this, he also said that India condemns terrorism and also those who support it.
Taking a dig at China’s intensifying military activities in recent times, Rajnath clearly stated that an atmosphere of trust, non-aggression and sensitivity towards each other is important for the peace, stability and security of the SCO region. He said that it is a big decision to adopt anti-terror mechanism to deal with extremist propaganda and to eliminate radicalism.
The top-level talks in the two countries so far took place on Friday amid continuing military tensions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in India and China. India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh (Rajnath Singh) met his Chinese counterpart Wei Fenghe at the Metropol Hotel in Moscow at 9:30 pm.
Fenghe had sought an appointment with Rajnath. The two leaders are currently in Russia for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting. India’s Defense Secretary Ajay Kumar and India’s Ambassador to Russia DB Venkatesh joined the delegation along with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar also spoke on the phone with his Chinese counterpart Wong Yi. At the same time, Army Chief General of India MM Naravane is visiting Ladakh and taking stock of security situation.
